Hey guys,
I recently bought my friends old STP2 as i needed as new MTB. Now the deal with dad was that if i was to get a new bike it had to be used for XC not just DJ. Now the wheels on it are just the stock wheels that came on it (Shimano hubs laced to Rhyno Lites Welded and Machined, not sure what spokes.) The back wheels is completely trashed and the front wheel...Well, he somehow folded his old one so he has just chucked his sisters K-Mart Wheel on it haha, so i need a new set of wheels. I was just wondering what you guys thought would be a good compromise between XC and DJ. My research tells me the for Rims i should just buy another pair of Rhyno Lites and lace them to Hope Pro 2 Hubs. Keeping in mind the bank factor (yes i know i just bought a pair of PIKES haha) and the fact that the PIKES use a 20mm Thru axle.
