Hi guys, just picked up my new carbon down tube guard from Greg at Zelvy carbon and thought i would share it here for anyone that hasn't seen something like this yet.
So far the guard has been sweet, copped a few rocks at the Toowoomba dh track on the weekend and not a mark on it.
The guards are made out of either a plain carbon fiber or a carbon Kevlar composite if you want a colored one.
They're extremely light and tough and attach easily to your downtube with 3 m tape.
This is mine for a trek sessions 8 but he has also made them for transition tr450, rocky mountain flat line, new model glory, and a zerode.
He is working on more models at the moment and if you have a new model popular downhill bike you could lend him to make a mold im sure he could hook you up.
If you want more info about pricing or want to check out the other cool carbon stuff he makes visit
