Default Wheel builders in the Melbourne area?

    Hello!

First post, but long time lurker getting back into mountain biking after more than a decade off.

Does anyone know a good wheelbuilder in the Melbourne area as above? Been to a few shops to ask, everyone goes "yes, we can!"

Would, of course, like a second opinion and advice if you gents would be so kind as to share your experiences with the workmanship.

    Many thanks in advance!

Even though they roll & corner better.....

Only thing I'm immovable on is I will not build with aluminium nipples in carbon rims.

Until they aren't, and you have to bin them....
I still can't believe alloy nipples are a thing, carbon or alloy rims

Also if you're willing to wait, pay top dollar and get the best in the business try Dan at Shifterbikes in South Yarra.

    Gravedigging an old thread ...

Any recommendations on the south side of town? Got a set that are prepped and laced up but haven't got the time to finish the build, and can't get access to the stand and tools I have previously borrowed.

What sort of price should I be looking at?

Aware of shifter bikes but have personally not had a positive experience with the customer service.
