    Just picked this up last week, 2017 Trek EX8
    (Have since removed the reflectors)

    Nice. Was going to pull the trigger on a 9 but hated the colour (like the black/red of the 8) ended up buying a 9.8. Only had a few rides so far and loving it.

    I was considering the 9.8 as well, but In the end I didnt know if it was worth me spending that much as I'm only a newbie.

    Be careful you don't remove anything structural. Those reflectors help balance the spoke tension.

    The colour scheme appeals to me. For a noob you have good tastes.

    Will take care of that next, but first the bike has to go back to the shop cause there's a problem with the rear shock

    I don't know the specs but seems to have a fair bit

    Can you reach the pedals if you fully lift that puppy? It looks waaaay to far out of the frame to me.
