    Default Xt or slx 1 X 11?

Time has come to retire the worn out 1x10 setup and putting 1x11 on.
I think I've missed the boat on xt on sale was only $30 dearer a couple weeks ago now the price difference is more like $150. Is the slx good bang for buck or is xt worth the extra $$?

Not worth it IMO.... unless you like the bling and want something a bees dick lighter.

I reckon SLX looks better than XT. The gloss black XT looks nasty IMO.
Be careful with that, it was new once.

I have XT m8000 shifter with SLX m7000 derailleur and Cassette. Have been running it for almost a year and no complaints at all. Would recommend

XT shifter is a bit nicer, but aside from that there's not a lot to split them.

There's often so little difference in price, why bother with SLX? If you go SLX, maybe just go nicer feeling XT shifter.

I've got XT on one bike and SLX on another. As Duck says the shifter on the XT is a bit nicer with a firmer action and less lever throw. Otherwise there's no difference in operation.

Slx with an xtr shifter. It's all in the shifter feel.

    Awesome, thanks or the replies.
Not bothered on being or weight on a pretty heavy spitty.
So slx will be the go and maybe change the shifter down the track. As I'm guessing it's alot cheaper to buy the groupset Inc cranks than buying individual.
