Default Don't do Carbon Cranks Kids!

Just got this off a mate of mine back in the Emerald isle.

One of his riding buddies hit a gap jump....broke his crank arm and mangled his lovely Mavic wheel.

Seen this kind of thing happen before.... makes me happy that I no longer have carbon cranks on my all Mountain bike.

I think it would be "don't put Next SL's on a bike that sees jump gaps". I've seen them break just from XC riding....

I thought this was going to be about the bloke I saw at You Yangs yesterday who broke his XO crank.
Some people are like Slinkies. They serve no useful purpose, but they're fun to push down the stairs.

Lucky those cranks are cheap to replace.

    Not.

Want to buy my next sl's...????
Have survived much thrashing on my bike. Hopefully this never happens to me!

Now ... off to google snapped XTR cranks and snapped raceface turbine cranks .....

Sure I will find nothing !!

Carbon cranks would be less resilient to shuttle damage.
