Default How do you hide your latest acquisition from the other half?

I use the anti stealth method, leave it all out in plain view. Converted the garage into a room for my son, leaving just enough room for a shit storm of bike related carnage! If any questions are asked, it's been there for ages.

Mine rides now and pays attention to bike stuff. This makes things harder to hide because she has an eye for it now but has an upside in that I can buy extra stuff if she's getting extra stuff.

This upside also has a downside - we have zero monies - but I choose to ignore it...

I've had some stuff delivered to work after ordering late at night and deleting the confirmation emails from various areas. Took over 12 months before the invoiced accidentally surfaced. I should just come clean, but it's more fun the other way.

I don't know if it's easier but it's definitely a surer way of achieving your end goal!

    Ha, great thread!

I should refuse to incriminate myself. I've about 7 bikes, give or take a few. Side jobs/consulting has paid for a fair amount of my collecting

    The 26" tyre collection

Some of the 32mm fork collection.

The Enterprise IT hardware collection is just as impressive, the highlight being 100TB of SAS sweetness.

My wife and I ride together... she's crazy for riding, so I just have to buy two of everything.
