    Default Can you fix a maxle ultimate?

    I broke the lever off putting it on the roof rack last night. Can you buy a lever kit or something?

    not sure, but Wolftooth I think had axels for sale in their scratch and dent section

    Mate you've done well with that axle. Look how far past the used by date you made it! Lucky a new maxle isn't that expensive.

    I put a small bolt through mine but lost the cam locking of the lever, so I had to wrap a bit of electrical tape around it and the stanchion to secure it until the replacement came.

    I did think about something like that but luckily have a mate with a spare. I've ordered a Stealth for my next axle. I don't mind if it's not quick release if it's stronger.
