That said, my argument has always been that Bernie had no chance because the majority of voters in the US are financially comfortable and would never take the gamble of voting for a socialist candidate.
Dont agree the majority of voters are financially comfortable although all the white power brokers are and agree they are too conservative to vote for Sanders.

Unlikely, hard to imagine that advice isn’t being accepted. Too much potential for leaks in this country and after the bushfires COVID19 is his salvation, he has a second chance to be a successful leader during a crisis.
 
In the meme-iverse the Betoota guys have been pushing these ideas pretty hard, especially the football one. While the conference isn't his, the pedophile hiding boss of hill song seems to have his ear tight. Those greed laden arseholes wouldn't be keen on closing an event or refunding money

Wouldn't surprise me, he'd be absolutely desperate to source a vaccine from anywhere after being humiliated by the Surgeon General(?) in that press conference a couple of weeks ago.

The one silver lining in all this is I am really beginning to believe this will be the end of him. He's fucked up so badly in so many ways in such a short space of time - and given so much footage and soundbites to the Democrats to use against him. Sure the election is still a way away but even the most rusted on MAGA is going to start questioning things when the US economy really tanks and COVID-19 starts hanging out with the obesity epidemic...
