Could you put a rigid fork up front and average out the travel to 80mm as a total.....or something....Ok, not so helpful.Dump the fugging DC fork and remember what you're trying to do here, FFS

How does a bike with 13” BB height do that when 8” forks and 9” rear compress?

Wrong rear shock, something collapsed, rear linkage modified, the possibilities are endless. Not peer reviewed...but I had the same bike. I didn’t come any where near doing that.

The early Wilson's had a rep for cracking. How does a bike with 13” BB height do that when 8” forks and 9” rear compress?
Unfortunately you are not likely to sell straight forks. Or at least in my price rangePerhaps so. Was on their enduro frames from memory and had a bunch of epic gnar ride pics attached?
But yes...just buy a sensible+sendable 140-170mm single crown fork. The 150/170mm Marzocchi 55cr that I have on a straight steerer is a good example. A great fork for this kind of frame.
Yeah nah.The early Wilson's had a rep for cracking.
Indeed. So many ewwwwws.proprietary 25mm axle too, had one on my (sold) spesh 08 enduro, anyway
ended up putting a Marz 55cr on so I could use normal hope wheels.Indeed. So many ewwwwws.
Very solid option. They could have easily gone with a 36 or similar....but spesh.ended up putting a Marz 55cr on so I could use normal hope wheels.
Depends if he has the slightest interest in staying with the XC brief.any interest?
