Bear with me here, as I haven't watched a lot of DH in the past. But is it just me, or does this course look very bike-parky?

Aside from the big doubles, there doesn't look to be a lot of tech...? Or will that come in as the track falls apart?

Parts, a bit, but its about mixing it up after the roots and rocks of Maribor. I foresee tight times.

This is true.
Some mid section looked steep and tight. I’m excited.

I guess there's also a bit of the pros are freaks and make it look a lot smoother than it it, and as @indica suggests - stabilisation smooth and cameras make everything look flatter. It will be interesting to see the live coverage as it may paint a different picture. I guess I just prefer watching them riding tech, this more open stuff all looks a bit same-same (to someone who's scared of jumps...).
