I think he needs 10 sets of brakes. So buy 10 sets for every possible brake upgrade.
Likely the 400’s run same pads as 2 pot deore, slx, XT and XTR have since 2012...

Even some of the better ones are problematic, you need to pre-load them at home because you need a set of pliers to pull the bacon strip through the tool. The better car plug tools have a single prong, I don't know why they don't make them all like that.I bought something similar from Ebay. The stabby thing looks pretty flimsy on the ones I received. The facon strips look like facon strips at least.
You don’t carry mini pliers? I carry one I grabbed from Bunnings. It’s ace.Even some of the better ones are problematic, you need to pre-load them at home because you need a set of pliers to pull the bacon strip through the tool. No, I don't but I should. Managed to pull a few through with my teeth, I've had an eye on the kingcrome ones. You don’t carry mini pliers? I carry one I grabbed from Bunnings. It’s ace.
I mainly carry one to remove tubeless valves if I ever get a flat. If....No, I don't but I should. Managed to pull a few through with my teeth, I've had eye on the kingcrome ones.
My bacon strip kit has a small blade in it and my chainring nut wrench happens to fit the tubeless valves. Just ordered one of these from fleabay, I've borrowed one before from a bloke I ride with.I mainly carry one to remove tubeless valves if I ever get a flat. If....
Good for snipping off bacon strips too.
I’ve got dynaolugs also. They’re only good for really small holes.Buy a Stans DART, problem solved.
Neither do I but it would have saved me when I busted a hole in my rear Minion DHR II.i was chatting with a mate while riding the other day, I have never needed one of these bike hole plugger dovalackeys, I clearly do not ride aggressively enough, or is it incompetently enough?
Yup and if you're a fair distance from home then it's a ride cut short and maybe a long walk home! You don't need one, until you do.
The bacon strips do the same job and are heaps cheaper, more moneys for bike parts.Buy a Stans DART, problem solved.
@Ponchoatdirtworks. Don't go above recommended rear rotor size, or you may end up breaking the left seat stay. I have a broken one that needs fixing which had this happen to it.Pretty much like this one

In the same way SR Suntour XCT forks do the same job as Lyrik Ultimates and are heaps cheaper? The bacon strips do the same job and are heaps cheaper, more moneys for bike parts.
I can feel the difference on every ride with cheap forks, punctures that need plugging are once in a blue moon. Even with the bigger holes you just push more becon strips in there. In the same way SR Suntour XCT forks do the same job as Lyrik Ultimates and are heaps cheaper?
Tried Dynaplugs and persisted due to the price, could never get them to work as good as bacon strips. Bigger hole, jam more bacon in.The bacon strips do the same job and are heaps cheaper, more moneys for bike parts.
Apples vs olives in terms of comparison...In the same way SR Suntour XCT forks do the same job as Lyrik Ultimates and are heaps cheaper?
Do you have someone that you trust to weld it?@Ponchoatdirtworks. Don't go above recommended rear rotor size, or you may end up breaking the left seat stay. I have a broken one that needs fixing which had this happen to it.
When I fix mine for my son I'm thinking of getting one of these slacken the head angle a bit
