Pub Trivia - AKA things that may be beyond the scope of Moorey’s knowledge

Oh damn, just realised I didn’t specify atomic weight v density. I think you might be right on Uranium as far as atomic weight goes, but Osmium is the densest.

Your turn.

It's not heaviest as far as atomic weight goes think there's all your mad ones like Einsteinium and whatnot but I'll take the points!

What and where is the Hallgrímskirkja?

*There's a clue in the name

Grimy hall in Iceland or one of those other countries that have a surplus of ks and js.

Fuck it. Dales has got it. It's this big bastard of a church in Reykjavik.

@moorey It has 'Kirk' in the name - the commonly used term for church in Scandinavian languages, Dutch, Scots and close to 'Kirch' in German.

Ok, I was recently in Chillagoe, FNQ. It is known for its limestone caves and the derelict smelter, what else? Multiple answers, it can be a thing, or a place or a journey or other.

Ford cars collection
Observatory
Silurian rock formations
Hambo is up.

I would have also accepted:
Marble quarries
Gateway to Normanton
End of the Savannah trail...

On the first I heard an interesting story yesterday. Apparently there was some scandal involving Chillagoe marble which was trucked as 20+tonne cubes to a warehouse in Brisbane where it was cut into slabs and then packaged and labelled as Italian marble and sold from the next door warehouse for somewhat higher asking prices. No idea if it is true but a good story nonetheless.
