You've clearly never heard of Wynstar Phasers.Batman brand
Only tyres I've ever seen go 150,000k and still look brand new
Ex-fucking-citing in the wet!

Sounds like Lakeside in heavy rain on semis. I would have been scared if I wasn't laughing so hard. You've clearly never heard of Wynstar Phasers.

Same rims though? Surely they’d be wider rims with 235?Picked her car up today. A quick 20 minute handover and spoke to the guy about apparent different tyres.
He said BYD are fitting Conti Contact 6's to vehicles for certain markets, depending on the importer.
So none for Australia at this time.
The Contis are 235/50/18 vs Atlas Batman's at 215/55/18.
Theres a lot of close size options for this car. Few nicer options in the 235/50's.

Not for 10mm either side. Don't know how Mrs BMX drives, but that would put a bit more rubber between rim and curb.Same rims though? Surely they’d be wider rims with 235?
Good chance to correct the speedo if it needs it.Picked her car up today. A quick 20 minute handover and spoke to the guy about apparent different tyres.

Bouncing 31" 4WD tyres of late but I have a vague recollection her old Lancer wheels were a fuckin messNot for 10mm either side. Don't know how Mrs BMX drives, but that would put a bit more rubber between rim and curb.

The mechanical sympathy is strong with this one...Just checked, her Lancer Apsire had belts of rubber for tyres, 215/45/18... she never topped them up with air and ran the fuckers flat, destroying them. That car cost me a mint on tyres.
Odd. They’re very bagged out! 225 would be better….Same rims.
Not my picture, someone posted it from a new brochure.

Isn't keeping the tyres pumped up your job, or the hellions now? That's how my wife rollsJust checked, her Lancer Aspire had belts of rubber for tyres, 215/45/18... she never topped them up with air and ran the fuckers flat, destroying them. That car cost me a mint on tyres.
Pair o hallions are working, girls, cars etc... it's surprising the turn around when you have to pay for your own fuck ups. Missus has never llistened or learned from day oneIsn't keeping the tyres pumped up your job, or the hellions now? That's how my wife rolls
Same. Her job is to drive it, my job is everything else…Isn't keeping the tyres pumped up your job, or the hellions now? That's how my wife rolls
Yeah that 5mm on both sides will be noticeableOdd. They’re very bagged out! 225 would be better….
It really is… Going one size over the right size of a rim width is noticeable in the handling, two makes the tyre perform very soggily indeed. Especially on a heavy car.Yeah that 5mm on both sides will be noticeable
You have been reading the last few comments though? It really is… Going one size over the right size of a rim width is noticeable in the handling, two makes the tyre perform very soggily indeed. Especially on a heavy car.
Side walls don’t perform properly.
The BYD has tyre pressure monitoring and will remind your wife to pump them up.Isn't keeping the tyres pumped up your job, or the hellions now? That's how my wife rolls
