Morton's Neuromas are often caused by wearing shoes with a toe box that is too narrow for the foot that is going into it. Whatever brand/model you choose make sure it's wide enough for your foot, otherwise that neuroma is likely to get worse. Can I ask why you were advised to go back to SPDs?

Are you sure that the SC joint is the source of your daughters symptoms, other injuries can refer pain into the clavicle or anterior chest. SC joint sprains/dislocations are definitely a less common shoulder injury and typically associated with trauma or significant force, ie fall onto shoulder...

I've found the pocs to offer good protection, had a few nasty spills in rock gardens that would have been very messy without them. They aren't restrictive and stay put , although certainly get a bit warm in the summer months.

Agree, go see a Physio. It's hard to make an accurate diagnosis without a physical exam. A few things can cause pain in the back of the heel other than an Achilles tendinopathy, and if you haven't had an increase in training load and don't run or play jumping sports, the Achilles is less likely...
