Get a hammer and a punch/screwdriver and insert in in the bottom of the frame, place the punch on the bottom of the bearing cup and hit, make sure to hit it up evenly because you dont want to ovalise it. The gyro plate should slide off the cup. To put it back in, place the bearing cup ontop...

Dont worry too much about how much ram you have, get faster ram, 667mhz ddr2 is a little too slow for me, id say go with ddr3, but this may mean new motherboard.. but you will be surprissed how much of a difference it makes..
