My friend borrowed my bike, and somebody stole it while it was locked in front of some shops... my friend had to walk home, and on the way she saw some young guys mucking around on my bike, my friend took it back off them... happy ending...

I highly recommend the Specialized Enduro, I got my 04 model one in mint-2nd-hand condition for $1500, my friend also bought a 03/02 Enduro expert recently for $1000, it was in very good condition. Anyway, I do the kind of riding detailed in the original post, and the Enduro is perfect...

By the way I read somewhere Waddell was wearing a MX (Moto Cross) Helmet, and that he probably would have died with a bike helmet on, since the MX helmet was destroyed.

I plan to re-spring my pike fork too... Sorry to detract from the main thread topic but I am just wondering how much are pike springs and where is the best place to get some? I want some stiffer springs for mine... thanks
