Damn, I thought they would put signs up a month out like before. Hopefully Kowen is left for a bit, Rally of Canberra soon and weve got a few test days through there till end of year. Next year is in the planning stages for same parts of Kowen too.Not what Paul Cole is saying, due to be closed any day?

Which Marin frame is that? Where did you purchase it? ThanksDamn it - ordered a 150mm Z1 Bomber for the new frame for the lad as well, $500 seems a hard price to go past and a bit better than the RS Revelation he had before

The San Quinton hardtail - 3rd one I've purchased (This time frame only as I can swap parts etc). Not a go fast XC bike but a lot of fun to ride. Got it from Bikesonline on special for $500Which Marin frame is that? Where did you purchase it? Thanks
That looks sick! Lucky locals there for sure.A couple of years ago, I remember filling out a survey about what do do with the unused space under the Tonkin highway bridge in Perth which was being upgraded as part of a major infrastructure project. One of the options was a bike track, which I of course selected. The bridge has now been renamed and it's amazing to see the concept drawings actually come to life, the Hallion and I checked it out yesterday. I'm pretty sure he will be spending a bit of time there with his mates in the school holidays next week.

What is that beige looking surface made of? Is it concrete or clay with dirt glue mixed in? Looks super smooth.
It's some sort of soil/clay with dirt glue mixed in. It seems really popular with all of the trail building companies over here but they are all pretty secretive about what their own special blend is. Other parts of the trails tracks are packed limestone, the back side of the table top on the right side track I'm on is packed limestone babies heads.Damn @ausdb !!! I love seeing these sort of under bridge parks, if only more authorities would get on board. It looks pretty good! Almost tempting to make the track west and check it out...but is that surface fucking gravel?
So PVA glue and sand. Easy recipe. It's some sort of soil/clay with dirt glue mixed in. @pink poodle I'll post some pics of the new jump lines at Dianella that will make you more jealous. Concrete launcher/kicker things and dirt glued limestone tabletops with no pea gravel in sight.
I jumped on Three Chillies Design website who built it. They use PolyPave in their pump tracks apparently. Interested to know how it holds up, what it's like to repair and such. It's some sort of soil/clay with dirt glue mixed in. Waterproof PVA though, they don't seem to dissolve unglue when it gets wet.So PVA glue and sand. Easy recipe.
