you must love your specialized.

how is it with the totems
I love the Totem soloair : light (2.6kg) & very tunable, can be setup for different (local) courses easily...

i had 66, 888 mounted before but totem currently suits my needs.

My only concern is although it's very stiff, totem's lower casing is very thin... not crash friendly...

Looks very awesome man,
I had a similar setup, a number of lighter parts,
but I had Boxxers (about 300 gs heavier than your forks)
and ran a 2.5" rear tire, with 170g tubes.

I do find your weight hard to believe though, I can't see where the
excess weight is dropped as myn was 18.3kg. I can only see about 500g's saving on your bike compared to myn.. maybe yours is a Small frame?

I had lighter wheels than you, same brakes essentially, (maybe lighter)
A much lighter seat and seatpost, a lighter bar and stem, Same weight headset, Same Shifter, lighter Rear Mech, Same weight cranks, (maybe lighter), Same pedals, Similar weight Cassette (230gs), Same Front tire, and a 2.5 Rear.

The only place I can see a weight saving is the fork 300gs, and the rear tire (IF your using single ply) would be about 400gs, but if they are dual ply then probably only 100gs. my tubes where only 170gs each, I reckon your tubeless goo would only be a tiny bit lighter than that anyway.

Dunno. I can't figure out where you lost 2kg..

Bloody nice anyway.. well done!

Regards

Hi Juls,

It's all in excel files and i counted part by part, as well as fullbike. It's a small frame (4905gr) and the Lust hi-roller is 740gr, hope hubs is light as well (total 2110gr for hope + 823s), but maybe you're using the same stuff. What crankset are you using? the XT with e13 38T is about 810gr including bb.

Anyway, have fun riding your reignx (?) that replaces your demo... cheers and regards,
biz
