Not many folks know that Dubai based mountain bikers have some pretty good mountain biking close at hand. There is a strong community and lots of fun to be had. During the winter the weather is excellent

Showka has seen a huge amount of trail development over the 6 years I was riding there. Its now at around 100km of trails largely developed by the Hot Cog group. Awesome riding, I really like it
A friend of mine brought a fat bike just as they became available to see if it would work on the sand. Turns out they do spectacularly well!! Game changer. Heres a video showing what is possible on my Moonlander out at Shweib. Amazing riding, truly game changing
