2003 DJ1 travel change

I have a 2003 Marzocchi DJ1 set at 110mm which I'd very much like to adjust to 130mm. I have the travel change kit (spacers, springs and top out springs) but I can't work out how to get the top out spring off the rebound cartridge in the right leg. The left just slides in and out and is no issue, however the right is held in place by a spacer of some description. Doesn't appear to be threaded and I'm wary of trying to tap it off as the cartridge outer is plastic and I don't want to fuck the fork...

That is very kind Ms Canary, but you might have me mixed me up with someone that knows what they are doing :D

My MXCs have very little going on in the inside - just oil and low pressure air.. I've only had to service them and that is about it.
