I gave myself concussion there doing TransNZ
Great riding, went back there the next week for a day. A bit more challenging without 'race face' on!

I find less challenging without race face on....coz I’m more inclined to walk the tough sections
I miss the smell of wild thyme ground into my clothes.

Still trying to get in 150 a week. A little down this week thanks to lockdown, but made up a bit today in the heat with 50km and around 1300m climbing. Just need to do that 5 days straight and I’m sweet

Day one is mainly flowy trails through beech forest. I think I opted for my open face second time round.
