Ah righto. Thanks for that.the oven cleaner helps to bring it from dull raw metal to much closer to a polished, removing a heap of residual crap left on the metal by paint, treatment to the metal, oils etc. Its what you use to clean up older bike parts back to that nice origional shine
This ones 3000 wide , you can crop and resize to suit.i thinks its 1440ish?
do it
I've got a new helmet , goggles , jersey , shorts and shoes. Possibly looking faster , probably the same speed though. Might as well look good.Tony! I must say when you told me you were going to do it, I thought it was a great idea. But now I see it, its even better than I pictured. Must take it for a spin... You will look faster now...
Why not? you only live once! Gone the full upgrade.. I like it! Post some riding pictures up asap.I've got a new helmet , goggles , jersey , shorts and shoes. Possibly looking faster , probably the same speed though. Might as well look good.
Faster....at his age???? He doesn't need to go faster!Tony! I must say when you told me you were going to do it, I thought it was a great idea. But now I see it, its even better than I pictured. Must take it for a spin... You will look faster now...
Man you guys are quick ! Thanks for the replies
The one thing I don't like about this bike is the boring colour of the frame. I bought it used though , so didn't have a choice there , it was too good to pass up. Owes me $5000 as is.
Bargain.
Action pic thanks to one of Hux's crew.
Sure is. He's thinking , mmm that old guy goes alright but I could beat him , maybe I should make a comeback.......If I'm not mistaken that looks like Rob Eva in the background of that photo watching on.....Also nice bike man!!!!!
Yep , cable guides got the boot. Weird that they put them on a DH frame in the first place. Pretty sure the new Evos dont have them.Hey nice job on the frame and build great bike.I have a white 224 did you also take the cable guides off the front triangle?
cheers sox
Very nice. Good power and modulation , very consistent , don't fade much when hot , reliable as and easy to bleed. I had a ride of some Formula The Ones and they are slightly better for modulation and power , not sure about fade , didn't get them hot. They are a bugger to get a good bleed though. Takes a few tricks and some patience. Buy Hope !how do the hope brakes feel? thinking of getting some myself
Hello Jake I didn't realise Darcys frame was done in a night ! Good job considering.Tony.
You would have had to have gotten some inspiration from me polishing Darcy's Goose!
At least you did a proper job of it, unlike Darcy's and mine over night attempt.
It's beautiful, after seeing Ken's I realized I only like oranges polished.
But I like yours even more than ken's, it's beautiful.
We need to go for a ride some time, I want to see that thing in person.
I've put that north shore stuff to good use, should have it finished in two weeks, 10 foot drop should be good
Anyway, Awesome bike Tony.
Talk to you later.
