hi
i im looking at getting some upperbody armour. i have been thinking about getting a six six one assault suit (the short sleeve one) and was just wondering if any one uses them and what their opinions are on them. (good/bad,pros/cons)
i do a bit of downhill/freeride and was something after a bit lighter and something not so hot but still protects the core vital parts.
any feed back would be much appreciated:)

I got one, not bad for $160 and saved me sooo many times.

Pros:
-Works
-No signs of tearing after nearing 2 years of use
-Cheap
-Plastic pads havn't cracked

Cons:
-Velcro sucks
-Bit hot in summer
-Restrictive
-Forearm armour moves around too much
-Chest protection isn't that spectacular

I'm glad I got the armour though, well worth a buy if you're starting out. Dainese is the go if you want top notch quality that lacks the issues mentioned about the 661.
