The ACT does run 4X races but due to the low number of people participating they dont run very often. Check the CORC website for details.

We ran a race yesterday at Stromlo as part of the ACT/NSW state series (round 4). We also Ran round 2 of this series at the Greengrocers track in Goulburn on 18 May. The ACT/NSW state champs are on later this month at the Kurrajong track, WSMTB are runing this race.
Also keep an eye on the CORC web pages.
Both the BMX clubs run MTB gates at the local races. This is a good way to get some practice.

Low numbers have been a problem at club races in the past but we are planning on running a couple of events after the WC and before Xmas

I was helping out the builders of the kurrajong track, on sunday, who where modifying it. Lucky me and another dude were the test riders. Completely do-able on a dh rig. Has pros for hardtails and duallies.
So everyone get out there in a fortnights time.
