Also liked how he pumped up tubeless with a normal pump and it held air...I didn't like the rear internal cable exit, wouldn't it be better if it exited from the top of the rear chain stay rather than underneath which then contorts the cable?
Also I love the edit from when he was struggling to get the tyre over the cushcore to a finished wheel
I can do that tooAlso liked how he pumped up tubeless with a normal pump and it held air...
The Hope stuff looks amazing, maybe a bit too much silver for my liking but I'm just being picky! Needs a secondary colour in there somewhere. How to scratch up a new seatpost
I like the natural Alooominum Hope bits, even though the brake levers look like a bit fiddly
Would like a couple of mm steerer sticking up above the stem for the last spacer to sit over. It's not structural, just my sense of what looks right

At $500 for a set of brakes? No thanks.New brake time for hambo?
It’s only money, you’ll make more.At $500 for a set of brakes? No thanks.
Holy crap a grand?! They're sure purdyWhere can I buy a set of those Hopes for $500? Yes please!
$500 a brake is more like it. And a slightly underwhelming squidgy brake at that.At $500 for a set of brakes? No thanks.
Bleed them. They’re very finnicky to bleed but fine once bled properly (I re-did my front brake yesterday, only had a few tiny bubbles come out and the feel went from spongy to snappy and solid. Yes, they don't have the most outright power of all the brakes out there, but are perfectly adequate for 99% of riding/riders. The E4 calliper on the front of a 29er for my ~95kg weight felt a little undergunned on proper steep alpine stuff (it pulled me up no dramas, but had to squeeze the lever a bit harder than I liked for repeated runs) - the V4 calliper remedied that feeling.$500 a brake is more like it. Had Cura 4s. Sold 'em. Didn't like. Plus they make Hopes look Shimano-easy to bleed. But seriously. The Hope E4s and V4s are almost embarrassing compared to Cura 4s, which are significantly cheaper to boot. I would also say that the gold Curas are prettier too. YMMV.
