There is some weather on the cards that may stop access during those days. Closing a park due to the weather is a fair call, we want to be shown as a responsible crew. No cars allowed inside so shuttle runs of the DH track look like only happening inside organised events.
Oh and why is it closed on Christmas Day? Will they close it on other public holidays?

damm aout the shuttels but seriously whos gona be egier enuf to walk back up to the top of the dh track

I wish i could head up tomorrow but i think the work and weather will hinder that.
Dont head up guys if its pissing like it was today, itll turn it into a mud pit.
The shuttles are impossible at the moment unless there is some rule pertaining to how many cars on the road at one time etc, because it is bloddy narrow and i can see traffic problems arising if people run private shuttles.

Don't hold you're breath. I'll try and find out but it might NEVER happen (being open to the general public to drive their cars in) due to liability issues.

PARK CLOSURE will occur on Christmas Day, total fire ban days and days of extreme weather in the Mount Lofty Ranges. Contact the fire ban hotline 1300 362 361.

"The top gate will be unlocked from today when the park is open.
It has a trails, jumps and a skills park and a DH track. Here is a link to the full map of the trail network (4MB adobe pdf)
