My feed was fine too.
I'd presume the comment re: the cameras is probably more along the lines that they could afford to run as many feeds as UCI will allow, not as many as budget will allow.
There was what, 5 positions on the course at Maribor?
I had no issue with paying and I'd almost think that would be a more positive way to go.
I hope the 'industry' have pumped a tankload of cash into it so that we could see the same developing benefits down the line as a pay per view system would have afforded. This is not unusual, in rallying (even ARC!), circuit racing and so forth the teams all pay a considerable amount to be featured in the telecast (the same would apply to many sports I would think).
