Technology moves pretty quick.
MP3's.
Surround sound, 5.1, 6.1, ?.1.
Digital, Flat Screen, High Definition TV, Plasma.
Etc.

Prices change daily, stock can change weekly.

Why can't people ask questions about what is the best for them in the current market?

Why do people have to be so anal about what other people have to ask?

He wants the "best"... best for what? He specifies NO intended use at all, so that makes things difficult to start with.
Secondly, there's alot of resources online, asking a question without doing any base research isn't the best way to go about things either.

I didn't lock the thread, but I can't see what's too wrong with the way it was handled.

Some posts should be locked , but the guy was given 21 minutes before his thread was locked what is wrong with leaving it open for a day or so , if people want to post in it good if not who is it hurting if it's left open.

I know poeple get sick of the same topics , but i get sick of seeing poeple getting bagged for asking a question , we got rid of post counts so poeple would stop the " post whore" shit and now we have " use the search button dickhead" .

especially when things like this get let open , they are the same thing , so why not lock one of these ?

just on that one, the guy is genuinly trying to get a decent discussion happening. there is no harm in that. from what i can remember there was a cheap camera thread that died about a week ago.

I dont have a prob with his thread as i have been reading it , and agree he is trying to get some info , but maybe one should be deleted as they are the same thing .

The fact that is was locked so quickly wsa a pisser indeed. What shat me orf was the butt-headed reply that protecon posted. We have had plenty of discussions about the 'search' facility. Be a little more tactful when recommending someone use it please. :twisted:

mp3 pffft thats old been around for years, ogg is the best size to quality ratio, :wink:
