With the new season starting tonight just seeing if there were any fans on here.

Who is your favourite driver/manufacturer?
Have allways been a bit of a McLaren fan.

Be interesting to see if Ferrari can recover from last seasons poor effort, with them taking the first front row in Bahrain, and Michael still out in front, altho Massa allmost took out Alonso.

i'v always liked ferrari's & william's, even before they were any good.

and i want webber to win the driver's this year, hes definitely in a decent car now:p

I've been wanting to chat with motorsport fans on Farkin for a while. Finally!
I am a huge F1 fan, I've always cheered for M Schumacher. The race last night was a good way to start the season. There is plenty to happen this year. I don't mind the result too much as long as Kimi or Button don't win, they shit me off so bad. I'm throwing a long ball and predicting that Montoya is the sleeper for the title, I reckon he can pull some interesting results. It is also time Toyota got there finger out because they are all going to get fired soon. It is great to have the racing on again. More late nights.......

Im a big fan of F1. I follow Mclaren, and mostly kimi. Not the best start for Mclaren this year. Im predictiong a not very good season for them. Next year will be the big one though with Alonso joining the Mclaren ranks along with either Montoya or Kimi, no one knows yet.... Mclaren also stole Vodafone from Ferrari :D

Looking forward to the 2nd of April, im heading to melbourne for the GP :D :D

I hope your prediction is right with McLaren having a shocker. I hate Kimi :p.
McLaren stole Vodafone...true but Ferrari will steal something else of value to McLaren....Kimi ! Ron Dennis admitted earlier this morning that Kimi can go and look for other work for next year. He is sick of him whinging about everything (which is typical for Kimi).

I like the F1, go to it every year. Williams and Renault are my favourites at the moment- I hate Ferrari and McLaren.

Next year I'm most likely going to be a fire marshall at the F1 and the Motorcycle Grand prix, so that will be awesome. Orrryep.

I am very impressed with Rosberg's debut. He was fighting hard all the way to the end in typical Williams fashion.
By the way, McLaren is an English team with German engines, whinging poms you should've said. But I agree, McLaren are sometimes bad sports.
The RedBull teams are going to upset a lot of people this year. The Ferrari engines in the RBR's will do the job and the detuned V10's in the Toro Rosso's will catch the V8's in a straight line (that was proven last night). Bring on Malaysia.

Caught the start of last night race. Looks like its going to be a ripper of a season.

Don't follow F1 closely so I am not in the know. Its seems a bit stupid that Jenson and Barrichello were dueling each other for 5th and 6th for the first 3 laps of the race. While Raikkonen sitting cosy in front of them. Aren't they from the same team? Clash of ego perhaps?

I follow the F1, have always followed Williams most I guess, don't like Ferrari. Want Webber to better than so far.

I have a tipping comp with a mate going this year. We choose who we think is getting pole and the race winner drivers. Our scoring system is: 2 points for Pole closest to first. Then for race winner we get the racers points for our choice. Say I chose Alonso last night, I get 10 points for race winner. Winner at the end gets a BBQ thrown for them and family. With beer etc included.

I follow Ferarri and RedBull, and sort of Williams (mainly because of Mark Webber). I'm just a bit worried because I heard that Adelaide might be getting the Australian round back, which would be bad (I live in Melbourne and love going to the race). Adelaide should be happy with the 2nd biggest V8 round (Clipsal 500) and keep the F1 round in Melbourne at the better track (in my oppinion)

As far as I can tell you mate (I'm in the know ;)), Adelaide is not getting the GP. Melbourne is still winning awards after alll these years and it will be for a while yet. You say Adelaide is V8 Supercars 2nd biggest race? It is the biggest race for spectator attendance etc but Bathurst is the teams and drivers biggest race. I assume that is what you mean?
You said the.....ahem......gay..... word, be careful. Mods are going to spot it. And don't use that word when talking about motor racing!:p There is no association!
