Anyone reduced the travel on a Boxxer WC?

I have a 2018 Boxxer WC and want to reduce the travel to 180mm to suit my Knolly Delirium (170mm rear). It rides fine at 200mm but I have had this thought in my head for a while and like to tinker.

I figure I have two, maybe 3 options:

1. Fit a spacer on the airshaft
2. Shorten the airshaft and retap the thread
3. Does a Lyrik/yari airshaft fit?

Anyone done this before??

I do remember a Specialized enduro with a 180mm boxxer but it was coil I think. I also remember Jared Graves at Cannonball 2 or 3 years ago on an Enduro with boxxers. its definitely been done. Just wanted some confirmation/thoughts on the best way before I start playing with stuff.

1. Doesn't work with solo air
2. Really hard to achieve. Previous years had an airvalve in the end of the shaft for releasing the negative air chambers air.
3. Ask NSDynamics. Don't know if stanchion inner diameters are the same. Maybe move boxxer piston head to Lyrix/yari shaft.
