Are XT levers compatable with saint calipers?

Will the current xt lever (master cylinder) work with a current saint caliper.
Everthing looks the same and will hook up no problems but are the internals of the xt lever the same as saint. Same pressure/volume output etc.

I have both saint and xt brakesets and i swear the levers externally are identical.
Unless there is some difference internally i would say they would work fine.

I run the current spec XT levers with the current spec Saint 4 spot caliper. They work amazingly well. So much grunt!

I've been told they are mechanically identical.

Might I ask then why you would go to the trouble of changing them over?

Pretty simple really. I had the XT brake set on my bike, but wanted more grunt but couldn't afford a complete setup. So I bought a Saint caliper off a guy second hand, that was complete with lever, but the lever was busted. Just swapped my XT caliper for the Saint, quick bleed and I was done.
