Star Track overnight express:
Delivered... somewhere...

Call up..
First get to "talk" to their AI that just replicates what is on tracking screen (yay i suppose?).
Person says it's been delivered to a post office.. no card left in letterbox because "we're trying to go digital and save paper waste".

how the fudge am I supposed to know where it is then? maybe they are trying to save fuel by just dumping shit at the post office again?

Unfortunately been delivered to the local PO run by a guy like this, who won't give you package if you don't have a physical card so.... that will be fun... (it's not even a newsagent, just a dodgy unrelated shop with the licence)

** 2 stars.. for getting it within 10km of the delivery address..

2 stars for getting to the right state within a day, without pinballing to every state :)

the PO agent was funny.. again.... we do this dance every single time... :

[I have a package that was left here by Star Track yesterday, no card or message, i called Star Track 20 minutes ago and they said it was here. here's my licence]
"How do you now there is a package for you?"
[I called Star Track customer service just now, they said the package was delivered here] (I can see it behind him, there are only half a dozen things there)
"Show me the card"
[They didn't leave a card]
"They always leave a card, I need the barcode"
[there was no card left, I called Startrack, they said they are going digital and don't leave cards. they probably didn't even try to deliver it]
"Show me the SMS message"
[They didn't send me a message, they didn't contact me, i had to look up the tracking link from the sender, which said it was delivered, AND I CAN SEE IT SITTING ON THE SHELF BEHIND YOU]
"They always leave a card or send an SMS"
[not this time, no card as they are saving paper, and no SMS, I called Star Track 20 minutes ago]
"well.. show me your licence....."
"here's your package, but next time bring the card"
[I look forward to it]

Sold some Motorcycle Boots and the buyer offered $50 above saying if I can ship to Tas (From QLD) for that price he will take em - I thought sweet $50 will be heaps and most people try and bargain - Box em up take them to the PO to send as now I don't have access to Shippit - that will be 12.8KG (cubed - in weight was only 3.45KG on scale) so thats $78 pus insurance plus signature or you can send express for $138 - Im like WTF no I will be back.

Buy a $2 roll of tape as the boots were already in bubble wrap take them out of the box and wrap them in tape and take them back - Cube That MF'er - $38 including insurance and signature..

Thankfully Rotorburn taught me to wrap wheels round to make them cheaper to post.

It annoys the hell out of me that they just get to charge you anyway they can to make it the highest fee - Oh that small package in heavy you gotta pay more - Oh that light package is big you better also pay more.
