Item: Avanti D8 downhill complete bike
Location: Penrith(western suburbs of Sydney)
Item Condition: Good, usual scuffs from downhilling
Reason for selling: In the market for a hardtail
Price: $1700

Extra Info: All original except for lockon grips, pedals, tyres and bolt-thru rear hub. Grip modified the rear of this bike to accept a 12mm thru axle. Some marks on fork lowers, cranks and frame purely cosmetic.

FRAME: 4130 Cromoly US Mill Spec T - 67368 with 8" Rising Rate Suspension
SHOCK: Fox Vanilla RC Rear Shock, 2.75" stroke(original and progressive spring included)
FORK: Boxxer Race(soft, medium and hard spring included)
BRAKES: 8" hayes
COCKPIT: FSA
CRANKS: Truvativ Hussefelt with chain guide
PEDALS: Bilt
FRONT HUB: 20 mm thru axle
REAR HUB: Tufnec 12mm thru axle
TIRES: Maxxis Minion DH F, 26 x 2.5 Slow Reezay 40a

The forks are 2003 model boxxer race. As far as I know the D8 was only made in one size which is about a medium. Hope that clears things up :)

Yes it is an 03 frame I believe, which was purchased in 04. One of the few that doesn't require a widget fortunately.

Sorry I sold the bike to a farkin member last weekend and the proceeds went towards an 06 Sasquatch :)
