I'm in there somewhere too. At least there doesn't appear to be too many of you suffering from back injuries actually caused by mountain biking.
Have to agree that core strength and flexibility will help regardless, as does looking after yourself. I used to suffer lower back stiffness and soreness regularly, and would go see my chiro when it finally 'went', but since changing to a regular preventative maintenance chiropractic session once a month, I've enjoyed the sustainable, pain free mobility that I thought lost in my 30's. Being mobile allows you to ride, and riding keeps you mobile.
