A gift for my sister - Bassano Cicli Lara (no idea which of these is the brand, a bike called Lara from Bassano?)
Italian made, 1970s I'm guessing folding bike - bought of ebay after a long period in storage. Surface rust came off easily, cut and polish, new Hoffman BMX tyres and brake cables (internally routed rear cabling thank you very much), serviced the hubs and BB and voila! Coolest chick bike around!
Dynamo and lights working too - toyed with the idea of lights that were actually useful but just couldn't do it.
If anyone knows anything about these bikes I'd be interested to hear it.
