Been pretty quiet on here recently, new bub and a change of job have curtailed my online presence.
That aside, ive been busy building bikes for mates. Recently built up a beauty of a Santa Cruz Tallboy for one mate.
For the first time in a long time, ive got the second oldest rig in our riding crew... and it's soon to be the oldest.

Just ordered a shit load of parts for my mates new Yeti Sb130. He's a man that likes his bling... and this thing is dripping with filthy bling porn. Pictures to follow... for now, here's the spec.

I cannot wait to see pics..
Did he go the turq or orange colour?
Turq. The SB150 is available in Turq or Orange, but he's bought a 130.
Emerald, Turq and black are your options with the SB130

All parts have arrived, waiting on the frame, fork and new Chris King Dropset headset.

Nah, he’d still be out there..

Hahahahaha..... you've seen me ride up hills!

Still waiting on the fork to arrive from Fox. Should be here next week.

Started off the build with wheel set up, Frameskin and rear end finished.
Stuck on a set of forks I have in the parts bin to get the front end mocked up for cable routing and bar set up. Should be finished that over the next few days.

I'm pretty jelly of my mate..... its a filthy build!

Well after some delays in parts it's.finally nearly finished.

Frameskin didnt have a large SB130 template, so off to Canberra the frame went.

The Fox 36 150mm 29er in 44mm offset doesn't come with the Grip2 damper, so special order and a little less time was needed.

Lastly the Guide ultimate front brake was farked.com out of the box. Old, new stock, it had sticky lever syndrome.

MTB direct were unreal in organising a warranty replacement and express shippping in about 15mins. Unfortunately it won't be here till tomorrow.

In a major twist on top of the build, my mate (who I have built and maintained his bikes for years) has gifted me something that any mountain biker dreams of..... Pics below

Maybe a "Post you ride" from me to follow
