hey everyone.
I am hoping someone can suggest to me a good book dedicated to bike maintenance and repairs.
im after something that has a fairly descriptive instructions on how to perform different tasks.
pretty much along the lines of how to strip and rebuild a bike.
cheers pliskin

I've got a pretty good one with nice illustrations and they cover most the stuff i usually need; but it's in French. Usually, if you go to any major book store you'll find a few books on cycling, and at least one one repairs and maintenance.
I've seen this one before and it seemed really good, havent used it much though.

I have seen a really good bike maintenance book at one of the Anaconda, adventure shops.
It was about 100 pages thick and looked like it had everything you would need to know.

thank you for the feedback everyone.
i ventured into the city and picked up a copy of Zinn's book a few days ago.
now begins the task of getting a growing tool collection and bike stand.
