Giant has the branding to do this, however, Avanti/Scott (owned by Sheppards) is relatively new and does not have nearly as much market share as Giant. Trek has more market share than Sheppards. It used to be Avanti/Specialized for ages, isn't amazing how well Specialized has done since splitting from that agreement? I wouldn't lump Giant and Sheppards (Avanti) together.Avanti and Giant are both distro's that are the closest to this model. Avanti have their company stores plus the Bikehub franchise business and Giant have their company stores but neither are really pushing this industry advantage further into Oz distribution and retail. Which might be telling...
