Bmx Ramp

Im thinking of making a ramp for my bmx this holidays and i was wondering what specs i would need, im wanting to make it out of steel so it will last and i will wield it all up myself. Iv just got no idea how big i should make it, can ya help me out?

If youre making a kicker then steel is alright but I don't reccomend making a 1/4 out of metal.

yeah maybe i should of mentioned the kicker part, yeah i want that type of ramp maybe 6ft high by 8ft long? im not sure

yeah if you fall on metal it burns soo bad. worse than grazes for sure
