So I am currently running 2012 boxxer wc, I also have a pair of boxxer rc from the same year. My question is if I wanted to take the coil sprung leg from the rc and run it in with the damping leg from the wc will this fit? And is it an easy, straight forward changeover. As far as I can tell I should be able to change it straight over. The reason is I much prefer the feel of the coil to that of the air spring but I figure I may aswell keep the extra adjustability of the wc damping leg.

Should work.
The world cups spring leg is polished inside, so it's not the best idea to put a spring in there unless you never want to use the air spring again.
I would replace the RC damper with the mission control internals into the RC fork.
Also You would need remove a little top hat reducer at the bottom of the rebound leg to put the WC damping in.
