hey guys,ive decided to upgrad my brakes on my 07 STP 2 and was just asking for suggestions. My budget is preety tight so preferably not $2000 grand brakes lol

Get them they are good allround brakes

Yeah get Juicy's if possible, any model.
Hayes Nine's are your next best bet.

Don't really go for anything lower than that, your only on a hardtail so you won't be going so fast that you can warrant a set of Code's etc..

id get the new elixers..

they weigh the same as juicy's.. stop 10 times harder with great feel.. have adjustable reach and can be picked up for under $400 a pair with whichever rotor size you want!

ive had them on my downhill bike for a while now.. like them so much im going to be putting them even on my new 4x build!

Anything by Shimano or Avid will do the job. Hayes 9s are the worst brakes I have ever used.

It's a hardtail, and seeing as most STP's are used for DJ, you don't need something massively powerful. Whatever's in your budget, be it Juicy 3's, 5's, 7's, XT's, just get something in good nic (if it's second hand) and you'll be sweet.

+1 for XT 4-pot if you want your brakes like Pamela Anderson's tits - good and hard

2000 grand = 2000 x 1000 = 2,000,000 = 2 million
