Budget hard tail

Ok, just so the budget dually thread doesn't get lonely. I'm after a budget hard tail in a reasonable spec. I really like cromo frames like on-one etc. Spec like xt, Hyd brakes etc. Prefer not common brands like giant? Looking at used to get a better spec. Budget 1 - 1.5k

I would also appreciate comments on my suitability to a china carbon HT. I'm 115 kg, would this compromise strength round seat post etc.

Usage would be 50/50 commute / Xc trails

I'm in Newcastle, but prepared to travel for right bike.

I'm 5'10

I'd like the frame larger than smaller due to the amount of communting I do

So 18" or bigger

I'm waiting on trading priviledges and will post up something formal in want ads
