This is more for the people who live in the lower blue mountains and kurrajong areas. Today I noticed a fair bit of smoke coming from what looked like the eastern end of the gross valley. Is this just our local firies trying to prepare for next summer or is it something i should watch abit closer?

Um,i am at winmalee and was caught up in the backburn drama yesterday,see watering hole/winmalee grose head thread.
Blue gum/grose head south/and yarramundi are being backburned-total 700 hectares!

I'm back baby! The big Q was indeed an ideal holiday destination. Apart from a scuffle with some rowdy youths in the unit next door, the week was great.
