Buy or upgrade

I was just looking for opinions on whether I should buy or upgrade my 2009 specialized Big hit fsrIII
The currents spec is:
fork:rockshox domain
rear shock: Fox Van rc
front brake:avid juicy 5 203mm
rear brake: avid code r 203mm
Crank:Husselfelt
cassette/rear derailleur: Sram X9
wheels:Specialized(rear one pretty bent)

What is your budget?

for upgrading:Around 2000 dollars but i would go more if i could get good components or get a few good deals
for buying: probably around 3000-3500

Considering that you can get a 2013 Giant Reign 1, with things like SLX 10speed, Dropper post, Fox Talas with QR15, Fox CTD shock, SLX Brakes.....all for $3000, I'd definitely recommend buying new. All these parts are head and shoulders better than anything on your 09 Specialized. You also get a great warranty...... hard to go past.

Oh, and $3000 is list price, you shouldn't have much issue getting the shop down to $2700ish at the least.

For 2k I'd probably sell this and the. Buy new.
This frame is pretty out dated not just in year but in terms of design they made some big and significant changes to thier ranges. I'd Definitly be Lookin towards selling this and going new.
