A lady I know of got beat up at the same place for trying to shoo one away with a golf stick and yes she was a boomer.
The last two times I ate kanga, it was rich and oily.
Sounds like they'd make good burger patties and sausages.
In my experience they make good steaks, need it to be less than medium, can be a bit gamey. Wallaby is ok but you need a lot more sauce.

The stakes that I ate were dressed with garlic and some herbs, smelt nice while being cooked but a bit rich for me. I'd eat it again just not a lot of it.

"Oily" is not a word I'd use in regard to 'roo; it has a very low fat content, so if anything can be prone to drying out.
