Well i put and order in from CRC and decided that i would use there UPS delivery sevice as it ships in a fewer less days.
So i got the tracking number and thought i would just see where my package is, well to my suprise it looks like my package is taking a little vacation.

It has been to 3 different places in the UK, it also made its way to Germany be for returning to the UK one last time and then jet setting off to the sates for a road trip.

Here is the list in order of where it has been since it left CRC.

Has nothing to do with where the package is physically - merely updating their own data files in relation to the package.

MASCOT, AU 12/12/2009 8:41 PACKAGE DATA PROCESSED BY BROKERAGE. WAITING FOR CLEARANCE
As it says - it is at Mascot waiting for clearance - most likely Customs Clearance - checking for illegal substances, determining GST/Import duty to be paid on the item etc. This stage can take anywhere from a few hours to a couple of days.

The next item you will see popp up is something along the lines of 'Clearance' and then passed to truck/person/cpompany for Australian delivery - depending where you are this could be straight from Mascot or onto another flight within Australia to your nearest major capital city.

What he said^^
You have to learn to read the courier service info.
Their (note the spelling...!) only crime is giving you too much info (that you haven't yet learned to interpret).
I'll agree it'd be easier if they left some of it out.
UPS is an American company, hence the US sites being listed in the process, but the key sites are Honolulu (it all goes to Aus via Hawaii with UPS) and Mascot - their delivery hub for Australia.
Last time I ordered from CRC, the parcel sat for 2 days in the UK before customs cleared it, so there's often a delay there.
Otherwise, all looks normal and you should get your package Monday.

One thing I should have mentioned in relation to GST/Import duty for Oz - usually if the item is under $1000 (think it is still that) you don't get charged extra for it BUT (always a but isn't there?)....

If you have imported a number of packages in a short space of time it is possible for Customs and the ATO to add up the value of these seperate imports and then charge you on one, a few or even all of them. Can't recall what the exact figure and time frame is but be aware of this 'gotcha' as it can sting when you get a bill out of the blue (and neither Customs or the ATO 'forget' about these invoices :) )

Ahh ok thanks guys.

Yea i really had no idea what i was looking at. Usually Its just shows that it left so and so and is on its way to so and so, But also this is the first time i have used UPS to ship from CRC.

Thanks again for the help guys, all should be good now.

Also i know about the tax on imported items and i think it still is for items over a $1000 as i have not been charged for anything yet that has been less but who knows time will tell.
