Hi guys,
First post in a long time. Hi to everyone again.
I'm now working for a growing (would you believe it?) national company that needs to decide on some CRM/marketing database software in the next few months. At the moment they have all their data in access and excel formats and are definitely starting to see limitations to this method.
We are looking for:
- Server or online based software accessible from anywhere
- Preferably non-propietary software that can export in .CSV (or similar) in case we ever decide to jump ship
- Ability to split into current customers and potential customers (leads etc)
- High resolution sorting, filtering and data characteristics. For example we would like to be able to sort the entire database by a number of different variables from any aspect of our business
- Ability to automate most functions including reporting etc.
The software will mainly be used for email and letter campaigns. I have had good experience with this company (to give you an idea of what I am talking about):

I am just starting out the search on this one so if you use (or have experience using) any of this sort of software please let me know and I'll add them to my list to research. If you have had a bad experience with any software I'd also like to know.
