Chainring Bolt Torx Wrench size

Hi, I am wanting to change the chainrings on my SLX cranks.

What size is the Torx wrench I need, if I am to buy it off the hardware store, e.g. T30?
Where can I buy the chainring bolt spanner to stop the chainring bolts spinning?

T30 it is.

And Park make the tool to hold the other side of the bolt. They are just a bit of pressed steel, pretty cheap by Park standards.

My chain rings were a hex key and the replacement bolts were a hex key too ... they undid fine without needing to hold the other side but doing the new ones back up I found a wide flat screwdriver worked then after 2 or 3 days I was able to nip them up without holding the other side at all.

Maybe try 1 and see how it goes i pretty much only needed the hex key

Thanks, I have now got T30.
But where can I buy the other tool?

Been to a few shops, they have it in their workshop, but none sells them.

Use the flat edge of a steal ruler if you get stuck or even a chisel edge you dont need to hold them too tight I found ..... well on mine
