Changing hub adapters

I have a rise 40 wheelset with a 15mm front hub. Apparently it is adaptable to 9mm QR, but i have no idea how. I can't seem to just pull the ends off like on hope hubs. Do the 9mm QR adapters just sit inside the current 15mm that are already there?

Not a thing on the intranet. CRC, gloooogle and the like. I have never heard of a hub that has internal spacers. So if they dont come of with a wiggle it must be solid setup. Try twisting them. If not, its only QR if you buy a complete wheel first up.

After a ton of searching i found that they can indeed be swapped from 15mm to 9mm QR, but a special tool is required. I have no idea how it works, but apparently it is needed to change the hub adapters. I can't believe how little info there is about this online, but i managed to find one that will ship to Aus so hopefully i'll figure out how it works when it gets here.
